Hi, I'm Jay Paulson. Welcome!
Welcome! This site is a testing area for some website programming projects I'm working on and some general info on (and links to) the different projects and websites I manage.
I'm a licensed Realtor with John L Scott Real Estate. I have experience in all aspects of residential sales, including rural and acreage properties.
I'll be happy to discuss any aspects of home buying or selling with you, answer your questions, and provide trustworthy guidance throughout the entire process.
My wife, Tiffany, and I lead Living Springs Ranch Ministry, a 140-acre mountaintop retreat for pastors, missionaries, and others in Christian ministry. We offer three guest cabins free of charge and provide additional resources for those facing burnout or crisis.
We’re currently raising support for this ministry and would love the opportunity to share more at your church or group.
What began as a real-estate-themed newsletter to send to my clients has grown into a business serving local agents. I provide each agent with custom-branded, printed newsletters, and partner with local printers and shippers to deliver them to the people in their contact lists.
I enjoy graphic design, working on websites, and programming.
I started designing websites in the mid-90s and earned a degree in web design. While it's never been my primary career I've kept up on it for my own projects. I've recently started doing back-end programming and database work, which was something I avoided for a long time. Turns out, I really enjoy it. I built my newsletter business's website from scratch using PHP, SQL, and JavaScript, comprising over 10,000 pages with approximately 3 million lines of code (about two thirds of that code was already written and just needed adjusted, like the 5,000 pages used to automate the billing and invoicing functions with Quickbooks).
I blacksmith, make hand-forged knives, and do leathercraft as hobbies.
I enjoy blacksmithing, leatherworking, and leather bookbinding as hobbies. Occasionally, I sell my creations.
I enjoy photography & videography and am a licensed drone pilot
I handle all the photography and videography for my real estate work, including aerial shots as a licensed drone pilot. I also enjoy shooting and editing for fun or other businesses.
I do the construction & maintenance work for our nonprofit.
Running a 140-acre property with multiple houses on it means there's always something to build or fix. In 2023, we added a new laundry room, and in 2022, we revamped the landscaping in the central “circle.” I'm currently building a log barn for our horses using trees from the property.
